Event Catering

Since the opening of the ISS DOME in September 2006, Dussmann Service has provided catering to the new home stadium of the Duesseldorf ice hockey team, the DEG Metro Stars. Before the game, during intervals and during games, Dussmann employees keep fans refreshed by serving food and drinks from eight kiosks.

The menu offers grilled sausages, curry sausage, fish cakes and schnitzel as well as the specialty DOME-Schneck, a slice of meat loaf in a bread roll, in the shape of the DOME. As often as possible, products are served which have a connection with the game, for example „Augsburger Puppenknifte“ when the DEG Metro Stars are playing against the Augsburger Panthers. Beverages include freshly drawn beer - not Kölsch of course – alcohol-free soft drinks and coffee specialties.

The fans also enjoy an additional service: mobile sales staff tour the ISS DOME serving guests while sitting in their seats. Thanks to Gastro-Karte, a card that allows cash-free payment, fans can buy delicious food and refreshing drinks without having to stand in line at the kiosks. And the friendly smile is complimentary!
