Clear Principles
At Dussmann Service the foundation stone for environmental protection is laid by product management. From product development and purchasing to the use of cleaning products, environmental aspects always play an important role. We work with suppliers who, like Dussmann Service make environmental protection a high priority and who act on the principle of "responsible care" and according to the norms of ISO-EN 9001 and 14001. All products used have been developed in accordance with modern ecological criteria.
Solvents
- Solvents are contained only in minimal amounts to fulfill the VOC regulations on volatile organic substance.
- All products are free of aromatic and chlorinated(AOX) compounds and are CFC-free causing no dangers to the ozone layer or in waste water.
- We do not use solvents which may represent a danger to health and safety (e.g. butoxyethanol).
Scents
- All of the scents used are free of nitro musk and polycyclic musk compounds.
Complexing agents
- Many of the products used, e.g. DS 222, are made without the addition of complexing agents.
- Otherwise, only complexing agents which are readily biodegradable are used e.g. citrate and alanine compounds.
- Substances such as EDTA or NTA are excluded.
