During the week, trainees from the neighboring foreign ministry academy come to enjoy the food served by Dussmann Service. But those without a diplomatic background can eat here too – and enjoy the view across the Tegeler lake – an additional bonus to the excellent catering.
Dussmann Service has been operating the restaurant since 2007 while simultaneously providing catering for events at the nearby Villa Borsig. And there are many events: from seminars to receptions and swearing in ceremonies, the staff carry out services at the center of Berlin political life.
At the weekend, the diplomatic scene takes a back seat and guests arrive from the city to begin their day trip with a leisurely brunch Over the Easter weekend, for example, the 7 members of the restaurant team served sautéed scampi, smoked breast of duck and other specialties to over 100 diners.
As from March, the contact persons at the Seepavillon are the operations manager, Torsten Hahn and event and service manager, Dajana Hörnicke. Future events are already planned.
